David Waren

President and CEO, Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford

Before joining the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford in June 2019 as President and CEO,David was with the Anti-Defamation League, where he served for 24 years in a variety of seniorpositions including vice president of regional operations, director of ADL’s Education Division, and regional director of ADL’s St. Louis and Connecticut offices. He was previously in private legal practice specializing in corporate law and bankruptcy.

David received his BA cum laude from Brandeis University. He received his JD, withhonors, from the UConn School of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review.David has also studied at Hebrew University and at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem. He is the recipient of ADL’s Milton A. Senn Award for professional excellence.
