Ruthi Shenfeld

CEO, Youth Futures, The Jewish Agency for Israel

Ruthi Shenfeld has served as CEO of Youth Futures, a subsidiary of The Jewish Agency for Israel, since 2017, following a decade of leadership roles within the organization and extensive experience working with at-risk youth.

Youth Futures operates in 57 localities across Israel, employing  450 professionals and supporting approximately 18,800 children and parents annually. As CEO, Ruthi leads the organization's strategic development, operations, budgeting and fundraising, working closely with its Board, The Jewish Agency, the Ministry of Education and other partners.

She also oversees Heartbeats, an early childhood intervention program supporting young families.

Previously, Ruthi served as Director of Field Programs and National Program Director at Youth Futures, and held leadership positions in Israel's Anti-Drug Authority and community services.

She holds a BA in Social Work and an MA in Business Administration, specializing in nonprofit management, from Ben-Gurion University. She lives with her partner, Ronit, in Kibbutz Mishmar HaNegev.
