Sarah Mali

Director General, Jewish Federations of Canada-UIA

Sarah Mali is the Director General of the Jewish Federations of Canada-UIA in Israel. Within this role and throughout her career that has spanned almost three decades, Sarah has led change processes in Canada, Israel and Europe fueled by her belief in bringing communities together to forge strong relationships and to generate collective impact.
In recognition of her leadership following Oct 7, Ynet distinguished Sarah as one of the three most influential women at the forefront of philanthropy to Israel in 2024. 

Since, Sarah has pioneered a $50million Pan Canadian and matching government and partners funding allocation to the Canadian Coast-to-Coast communities’ partnership region of the Galilee Panhandle. 

Sarah holds academic credentials from the London School of Economics and Hebrew University. Her professional qualifications include certification as an organizational consultant and advanced education from the Harvard Kennedy School, where she specialized in Adaptive Leadership.
