Isaiah Rothstein
Rabbinic Scholar and Public Affairs Advisor, Jewish Federations of North America
Rabbi Isaiah Joseph Rothstein serves as the Rabbinic Scholar and Public Affairs Advisor at the Jewish Federations of North America and as the Senior Rabbi of the Greenpoint Shul in Brooklyn, NY. He has previously served as Rabbi-in-Residence at Adamah, Isabella Freedman, and Beāchol Lashon, and brings to his work a deep commitment to Jewish diversity, social justice, and spiritual creativity. In addition to his rabbinic leadership, Isaiah is a social worker, musician, and rabbinic entrepreneur, dedicated to building bridges across communities and fostering inclusive Jewish life. Isaiah studied at Kushner Yeshiva High School, Lev HaTorah, Machon Lev, and Binghamton University, and received rabbinic ordination and a Master of Social Work from Yeshiva University. Raised in a multi-racial Chabad family in Monsey, NY, Isaiah sees himself as a human bridge, connecting diverse parts of the Jewish community and the broader fabric of American society.
