President & CEO, UJA Toronto

Since 2016, Adam Minsky has served as President and CEO of UJA Federation of Greater Toronto, one of the largest Jewish Federations in North America. Under Adam’s leadership, UJA Federation has become one of Canada’s leading charities growing combined annual revenue from $122 million to $318 million. 

 

Adam is proudest of the team he has built and his programmatic legacy.  During his tenure, he and his team have: created North America’s largest Jewish education affordability initiative; led a $100M philanthropic investment in Israel’s post-October 7th recovery; transformed Jewish Toronto’s security infrastructure; secured lifelong assistance for vulnerable Holocaust survivors; built a state-of-the-art Jewish community centre; established North America’s first Jewish hockey arena; and founded the Toronto Holocaust Museum.

 

Adam has received multiple awards for his leadership, including the Gordon Wolfe Professional Leadership Award – Toronto’s top award for Jewish community professionals. Originally from Montreal, Adam lives in Toronto with his wife, Heidi Brown, and three children, Noah, Hannah, and Jack.
