Doug has invested his entire career in the service of nonprofit organizations, helping them elevate their performance to successfully deliver on their missions. As a Managing Director and Partner of CCS Fundraising, the largest fundraising management and consulting firm in the world, Doug serves as a trusted partner to signature clients and is a member of the leadership team that oversees the firm’s 600+ consulting staff. He spearheaded the creation of Pride at CCS, the firm’s first LGBTQ+ employee resource group and continues to serve as the group’s leader and executive sponsor. He also lead’s the firm’s Working Parents and Caregivers Community and serves as a member of the DEIB & Culture Committee of the Board of Directors.
Doug is a Board Member and Development Committee Chair of Family Equality, a national organization working to advance legal and lived equality for LGBTQ families and recently chaired the President and CEO search. He is a member of the Jewish Federation of North America’s National Young Leadership Cabinet, serving as Israel and Overseas Vice-Chair, LGBTQ+ affinity group Chair, and recently chaired the JFNA Pride Mission to Israel. He also served on the JFNA Changemakers Steering Committee. Locally, Doug is a member of Jewish United Fund of Chicago’s (JUF) Board of Directors, Community Building and Jewish Continuity Commission, Israel and Overseas Allocation Committee, and Jewish Leaders Institute. He also recently received the JUF Davis, Gidwitz & Glasser Young Leadership Award.
Doug resides in Deerfield, IL with his husband, Matt, their twins Calvin and Mabel, and pup Franklin.
