Margo Paz

Director, Advocacy & Government Relations, UJA Federation of New York

Margo Paz is the Director of Advocacy and Government Relations at UJA-Federation of New York. For more than three decades, she has advanced UJA’s engagement with New York’s congressional, state, and local officials on issues ranging from nonprofit sustainability to immigration policy and the social safety net. Margo also leads high-impact advocacy initiatives and donor engagement programs, including UJA’s large-scale Washington and Albany advocacy days, strengthening the Federation system’s voice at every level of government.

 
Before joining UJA, Margo served as the Director of Legislative Affairs at the New York City Bar Association, where she oversaw state advocacy efforts focused on good-government initiatives. She holds a master’s degree in international affairs from The George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Albany.
