Ofer Bavly

Ofer Bavly serves as Vice President of the Jewish United Fund (JUF) and Director General of its Israel Office, overseeing JUF’s partnerships and impact across Israel and its work connecting Israeli society with Jewish communities worldwide. A former Israeli diplomat, he joined the Foreign Service in 1991 and served in Israel’s embassies in Madrid and Rome, later becoming Policy Advisor to two Israeli Foreign Ministers and Consul General of Israel to Florida and Puerto Rico from 2007 to 2011. He also serves as Diplomatic Advisor to the ICI Fund and sits on the Board of Trustees of the Lewinsky-Wingate Academic College, the Advisory Board of SAHI, and the Board of the Jewish Agency’s JReady initiative.
