Sydney Altfield is CEO of Teach Coalition, a leading grassroots advocacy organization serving Jewish day schools and yeshivas. She leads efforts to expand access to affordable Jewish education through support for security, scholarships, STEM education, transportation, meals, and more.

Altfield has expanded Teach Coalition nationally while advancing policies that make Jewish education safer, stronger, and more affordable. She has built coalitions uniting Jewish, Catholic, Islamic, and faith-based school communities; mobilized grassroots advocates and families; forged partnerships with policymakers; and helped secure investments in school security and support for nonpublic school students. She helped launch the Opportunity Fund for Jewish Education, a Jewish SGO for the federal tax credit program, and serves as its senior advisor. She has been recognized on City & State New York and Pennsylvania Power Lists.

Sydney works nationwide to ensure every Jewish child has access to affordable Jewish education and that Jewish communities thrive for generations.
