Zachary Nichols
Applied Research Fellow , Collaborative for Applied Studies in Jewish Education (CASJE) at The George Washington University
Dr. Nichols is a CASJE Applied Research Fellow at The George Washington University. His previous research focuses on parents, particularly regarding parental risk and the predictors of risky behaviors. Additionally, Dr. Nichols is interested in the addiction recovery and peer support experiences of American Jews, as well as the experiences of Jews and other religious minorities living in rural areas.
He holds a doctorate from Texas Tech University and an MBA and is a licensed chemical dependency counselor who has worked at the Menninger Clinic. He is involved with many outside causes, including collegiate recovery, homelessness, and alternative pathways to higher education.
