Sara Gottlieb

Israel and Overseas Chair, Jewish Federations of North America

A former Institutional Asset Manager, Sara now devotes her time to her true passion of Jewish community and Israel.

Sara currently serves as Chair of the Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) Israel and Overseas Allocations Committee. She sits on a wide variety of committees and boards including: the Jewish Agency for Israel, (JAFI), The Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), Keren Hayesod, Keren Hayesod’s International Women’s Division, JFNA’s Board, JFNA’s Investment Committee, JFNA’s Rebuild Israel Steering Committee, and UJA of Greater Toronto’s I&O Committee. Sara is currently Co-Chair of Philanthropic Leadership Gifts for UJA's Annual Campaign.  

Sara most recently chaired JFNA's Designated Allocations Task Force that examined Federation funding for Ethiopian Israelis. 

She has served on the Board of UJA of Greater Toronto, TanenbaumCHAT, Robbins Hebrew Academy, and Canadian Friends of Hebrew University Toronto Chapter, and was the proud recipient of UJA’s Young Leadership Award.
