David Goldfarb

David Goldfarb is Managing Director, Public Policy and Strategic Health, at the Jewish Federations of North America, where he manages a team of policy experts on issues vital to the community, including health and human services, security, civil rights, and tax policy. He also leads JFNA's Strategic Health Resource Center, which advocates for and provides technical assistance on policies that strengthen the social safety net, particularly aging services, disability supports, and behavioral health. Previously, David was Director of Long-Term Supports and Services Policy at The Arc of the United States, the nation's largest community-based organization advocating for and with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Before that, he spent nearly eight years directing advocacy for the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the leading professional association for lawyers serving older adults and people with disabilities. He began his policy career as Economic Policy Fellow for Senator Bill Nelson of Florida.
