Eileen Filler-Corn
President, EFC Strategies LLC
Eileen Filler-Corn made history as the first Jewish person and first woman to serve as Speaker of the Virginia House of Delegates. A lifelong advocate for the Jewish community, she worked to strengthen Jewish life and security across the Commonwealth. As Speaker, she established Jewish American Heritage Month in Virginia, advanced Holocaust education, secured state funding for memorials and synagogue security grants, and fought antisemitism through legislation adopting the IHRA definition. Eileen’s Jewish identity has guided her public service and leadership. A proud alum of Young Judaea, she spent a formative year in Israel after high school, deepening her Zionist commitment and lifelong bond with the Jewish homeland. Today, she continues her advocacy and leadership as a senior advisor consultant to the Jewish Federations of North America and as a board member of the American Jewish Committee, the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Washington, the Jewish Electorate Institute, and the Northern Virginia Task Force of Makom.
