Senior Director (Iran program) and Senior Fellow, Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD)

Behnam Ben Taleblu is senior director of the Iran program at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) think-tank in Washington DC where he also serves as a senior fellow. Behnam is a native Persian-speaker and Iran subject matter expert who for 13 years has supported FDD’s work on Iran in various capacities. He has testified before US, UK, and Canadian legislatures and is the author of Arsenal (2023), a comprehensive monograph on Iran’s ballistic missile program.
