Dr. Miri Bar-Halpern is the Director of Trauma Training and Services at Parents for Peace and a Lecturer in Psychology at Harvard Medical School. A nationally recognized trauma expert, she has two decades of experience across clinical, academic, policy, and tech settings. She is a leading researcher on traumatic invalidation, developing trainings and public health initiatives to foster resilience, healing, and recovery. Since October 7, she has led mental health efforts supporting communities facing antisemitism and extremism. An author, clinician, and public speaker, Dr. Bar-Halpern also co-hosts Our Stories Matter, a podcast on trauma and resilience.
