Shawn Brokos

Director of Community Security, Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh

Shawn A. Brokos became a Special Agent (SA) for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on Jan 7, 1996, and retired Dec 31, 2019 after 24 years. In 2019, Brokos became the supervisor for the Civil Rights and Public Corruption and oversaw the Tree of Life investigation. She was the Crisis Management Coordinator and led the crisis response on 10/27/2018. In Jan 2020, Brokos began as Director of Community Security for the Jewish Federation where she currently oversees physical security enhancements, Active Threat training, threat mitigation, and law enforcement and community liaison for the 62 organizations that comprise Jewish Pittsburgh.
