Mr. Ilan Wagner

VP Onward and Volunteer, Birthright Israel

Ilan was born in New Jersey and moved to Israel in 1986 after years of activity in Young Judaea, living initially on kibbutzim near Eilat.  He was an emissary focusing on college students for Young Judaea, Hillel and the Jewish Agency and also directed the Jewish Agency’s educational efforts in North America. Upon returning to Israel, he founded Onward  Israel in 2012 , and then became its CEO until the merger with Birthright in 2022. In 2023, he became the VP for Birthright's volunteer initiative.
