Rabbi Andrew Terkel

Be The Narrative Executive Director, Jewish Federations of North America

Rabbi Andrew Terkel is the Executive Director of Be The Narrative, a St. Louis based program of JFNA that builds strong Jewish leaders and combats antisemitism through personal storytelling. He has a background in Jewish youth, camping, and experiential education, and has been leading this new startup since 2022. Be The Narrative currently operates in 25 cities around the country, bringing Jewish teens to area high schools to share their personal Jewish narratives.

Rabbi Terkel met his wife Hannah, a Hillel professional, in Jerusalem. They live in St. Louis with their two boys and three goldendoodles.
