Ms. Heidi Gantwerk

President & CEO, Jewish Federation of San Diego

As president and CEO of Jewish Federation of San Diego, Heidi Gantwerk oversees the nearly 90-year-old nonprofit in its mission to broaden and deepen engagement in Jewish life, strengthen Jewish identity, care for all Jews in need, and foster dynamic connections with Israel – particularly in San Diego’s sister region of more than 25 years, Sha’ar HaNegev. She is an active member of Congregation Beth Israel, lending her voice each week as part of the Chai Band. Heidi holds a bachelor’s in psychology from Yale University.
