Eighteen years after starting at the Institute for Curriculum Services (ICS), Aliza continues to delight in ICS’s tangible impact on K12 education. She recently oversaw ICS’s establishment as a 501c3. Her passion for Jewish history led her to Oxford, where she earned a Master’s in Modern Jewish Studies. An expert on effecting changes in K12, Aliza has led ICS to bring about 14,000 edits to textbooks and standards, and to train more than 18,000 teachers from all 50 states. She received the JPRO Young Professional Award; ICS has been honored by JCPA, the San Francisco Jewish Community Federation, and Slingshot.
