Idan Roll is the MK and former Deputy Foreign Minister of the State of Israel.

His main areas of focus are foreign policy, LGBTQ rights, Israeli tech, innovation diplomacy, and Israel's relation with the Jewish Diaspora. He joined the "Yesh Atid" party in 2018 and became a member of the Knesset in 2019.

In the Knesset, MK Roll founded the hi-tech organization to promote the Israeli technology ecosystem and start-ups. Throughout the Covid-19 crisis, he promoted legislation to support small businesses, cut red tape and reduce unemployment. MK Roll has a BA in Law and an MA in Public Law from Tel Aviv University. As a lawyer, he worked in law firms specializing in high-tech, mergers and acquisitions. 

MK Roll is a major (res.) in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and served in technological units in the Intelligence Corps. MK Roll is the founder of the "Pride Front", a movement dedicated to increasing the representation of the LGBTQ community in the political arena in Israel. He is married and has two children.
