A native New Yorker, Cat Korren participated in Onward Israel’s 2018 summer internship program, sparking her deep love for Israel. She spent two years of her BA at NYU studying at the Tel Aviv campus, simultaneously working at Hava V Adam, an Israeli eco-education farm. Upon graduation, Cat spent 16 months volunteering on educational farms in Portugal, the Peruvian Amazon, Mexico and Colombia.

With her passion for sustainability, she returned to Israel as a speaker and moderator of Israel’s first ever climate tech conference, PLANETech, and began working at Innovation: Africa as their first sustainability associate. She has led birthright trips for North American students, and will be working this summer as the Madricha for Onward Israel’s Sustainability Program. She leads meditation, yoga and monthly moon circles in nature throughout Israel and hosts a podcast.
